An evaluation report on Vocational Training centers attached to Post Basic Ashram schools in Maharashtra

Abstract

This study was conducted as per the state government directions in order to make recommendations about the present day status and functioning of Vocational Training Centers attached to 15 Post Basic Ashram Schools under Tribal Development Department of the State. It has highlighted the key points regarding the present day status of these centers, their utility, the structure of human resource involved and has made important recommendations both from the point of view of revamping the training centers and from the point of view of difficulties faced by them to operate in a competitive environment.
