Evaluation Report of "Prerna" - the Leadership Development Training Programme

Abstract

Prerna was a leadership development training programme implemented in selected Tribal Students' Hostels in Maharashtra. The aim of this programme was to develop leadership qualities among tribal students, generate awareness about their safety, skill development, bringing out positive changes in their day to day activities and reinforcing those positive changes through a systematic mechanism to be put in place with the help of warden and other staff at the hostels. This report contains a practical evaluation of the said programme and underlines its importance as well as challenges in implementing such soft skills development initiatives in tribal students.
