Abstract: 9th June is the death anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. Today is the day for the tribal people of the country to remember Bhagwan Birsa Munda and his contribution to the freedom struggle. Lord Birsa Munda was born on 15th November 1985 in Ulihatu village near Ranchi city in Jharkhand state. His father's name was Sugna Munda and his mother's name was Karmi Hatu. He studied primary education in Salga village and English middle school in Saibasa. The mind of Bhagwan Birsa Munda was thinking and fighting against the atrocities, exploitation, and injustice perpetrated on his tribal community by the landlords, moneylenders, and the British.
