Abstract

Debo Na titun is based on the tragic story of sacrifice of three heroic women of Padmabil Village Kumari Debbarma, Madhuti Debbarma and Rupashi Debbarma in 1949 while resisting the activities of the militaryand police on the unarmed people of Khowai in Tripura, Many writers had immotalized this story in their literary works over the years. kamal Raychoudhury was the first of them who has documented the said incidents.
