Abstract: Pahadi Korwa is a Particularly Vulnerable Trible Group (PVTG) of Chhattisgarh which resides in the district of Sarguja, Balrampur and Jashpur. This community is currently living in accordance with the socially prevalent rules and the tradition and customs that are transmitted from one generation to other. The study describes the rules and regulations of the customary caste panchayat of Pahadi Korwas as well as the social laws prevalent in their birth ceremonies, marriage ceremonies, death rites and so on.
