Abstract: | Conservation-cum-Development Plan (CCD) started in the year 2007-08 as a Five Year Plan and due to this intervention remarkable Socio-economic upliftment has been registered in the lives of the tribal group. And to further the process of development Conservation-cum-Development Plan (CCD) for the year 2012-13 to 2016-17 has been devised. The basic aim and objective of this Plan is ensure development in sustainable manner and providing the PTGs a better life style. This Plan has been prepared systematically basing on the agro climatic situation, topography, land utilization pattern by considering the basic need of the people. Under the Plan ample thrust has been given to agriculture and horticulture as income generating options by way of land development, different plantation and cultivation programmes, training and exposure visits of PVTG farmers inside and outside the state. For enhancing the adoptability and to enhance the sustainability of the people awareness programmes, SHG empowerment programmes have been designed. For educational development running of Gyan Mandirs are ensured for pre-school going children. In addition to these human health camps, animal health camps, irrigation, infrastructure development, employability training etc are the main thrust areas of the Plan. Basic infrastructure will be created and amenities like health, education, drinking water, connectivity will be made available to the PTG people within their easy reach |
