Abstract: State and Central Government implementing various schemes viz., Economic Support Scheme, SCA To TSS, Energisation, CCDP, Article 275 (1) related schemes, NSTFDC, PMMY, Stand-up India Scheme, Land Purchase Scheme, Development of Coffee Project in ITDA, Skill Development Programme, Bhavitha Programme, and YSR Vidyonnathi Pathakam for the tribal development. The present handbook emphasis on the above schemes details like objectives, eligibility criteria, implementation process etc. The Andhra Pradesh Scheduled Tribes Cooperative Finance Corporation Limited, Hyderabad (TRICOR), established in October, 1976, is coordinating various economic support schemes for the economic development of the STs in the state. Economic Support Scheme, under this financial assistance is given to ST families below poverty line for taking up economic support activities. The corporation coordinates implementation of SGSY (ST component), Special Central Assistance, CMEY, PMRY, NSTFDC etc., by providing margin money and identification to the beneficiaries. The Girijan CO-operative Corporation (GCC) it is a public sector undertaking of government of Andhra Pradesh established in the year 1956 with a single mission, which is the socio-economic upliftment of Tribals. The forests in this state play a significant role in sustaining the livelihood of these people, especially the sale of forest produce. The CCDP this scheme such as backyard poultry and kitchen gardens for food security, Corpus funds for health emergencies, and support to Volunteer Organizations for involving in livelihood activities and improving health and nutritional status were taken up. The Government have approved a comprehensive Development of Coffee Project in Integrated Development Agency (ITDA), in Paderu area at a total cost of Rs. 526.16 Cr. for implementation over a period of ten years 2015-16 to 2024-25. Government of Andhra Pradesh is keen in development of skill of St unemployed youth by imparting training and providing placements. For this purpose, Government of Andhra Pradesh sanctioned 24 Youth Training Centers. The Schedule Tribe students under the YSR Vidyonnathi scheme is providing the best five institutes across the country for getting for free coaching for Civil services.
