Abstract

The book entitled Dakshin Kamrupor Rava Sanskritit Ebhumuki is dedicated towards description of the life and culture of the Pati Rabhas of the South Kamrup region of Assam. The religious and cultural festivals, folk songs and folk and traditional dance forms also find its detailed description in the book. It is expected that such detailed documentation that the author has made on the Rabha life and culture will add up to the already available stock of knowledge on the Rabhas, while also increasing the quest for further research on the tribe.
