Abstract

This is the 1st Annual issue of the Bulletin of Tribal Research Institute, Assam now known as Assam Institute of Research for Tribals and Scheduled Castes, Guwahati. There are altogether nine articles covering life and culture of the tribal people living across the hills and vast plains of Assam. The Bulletin was edited by Dr. B N Bordoloi, who was also the then Director of the Institute. Contents of the Bulletin are stated as under 1.
